Atsushi Mannami
In his works, Atsushi Mannami explores transience, meaninglessness and imperfection and combines found objects collected in urban spaces with ceramics, especially with architectural motifs, to create a “utopia of meaningless architecture”. His spatial installations transform the exhibition space through architectural interventions and activate the viewer’s imagination.”

Waleed R. Qaisi
In artistic expression, there is a desire to take control, hence it is a form of the manifestation of freedom that gives magic to formal space within the artistic work.

VICE VERSA
Our experiences shape our ways of looking at things. This makes it all the more exciting for me to explore objects from different perspectives and to discover new qualities and possibilities. Thus the works in the latest group of works VICE VERSA embody the changeable as a special characteristic. The top, the bottom and the sides are not firmly defined.

In my work, revealing the character of material is part of the approach. The work has an organic quality, but that is only one aspect of the completion of the work. I am not trying to “reproduce” what is found in nature, but rather addressing the essence of form, texture and color, and working with those qualities in a spontaneous and abstract way.
